Snow Peak and Field Theory Camp Out/Field Theory Way

Snow Peak x Field Theory x Lakes & Prairies Rep Collective: A Weekend at Herman Farms

This past weekend, over 70 campers gathered at Herman Farms in Herman, Missouri for an unforgettable outdoor experience hosted by Snow Peak, Field Theory, and the Lakes & Prairies Rep Collective. The event was a true celebration of nature, community, and the camping lifestyle—delivering a hands-on introduction to the Snow Peak Way.

Campers were fully immersed in the Snow Peak ecosystem, with a wide array of gear on display and in use, including Snow Peak tents, Takibi tarps, fire pits, and IGT setups. Attendees had the rare opportunity to visit a custom anodizing station hosted by Snow Peak, adding a unique, personal touch to their gear.

Culinary highlights included an incredible menu curated and catered by chefs flown in from Japan, complemented by a special Oktoberfest beer brewed exclusively for the event by Herman Farms. In another exciting feature, Nate showcased his personal Snow Peak archive, displaying iconic items from the brand’s storied past.

Programming extended beyond gear and food. Mike from the McGolrick Bird Club led several birdwatching tours, highlighting the rich avian life around the farm. Campers also took part in yoga sessions, a trail run, golf cart rides, and hiking, taking full advantage of Herman Farms’ beautiful landscape.

The event was a resounding success, connecting both seasoned outdoor enthusiasts and new campers through shared experiences, high-quality gear, and the thoughtful hospitality that defines the Snow Peak Way.

With overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, next year’s event is already in high demand. Stay tuned—registration will fill up fast!
